KEYSTONE PARTNERS
NNYCF was the first financial supporter of the Alliance, providing funds for volunteer recruitment, orientation, and safety training. The Northern New York Community Foundation inspires and celebrates charitable giving, stewards community resources, and supports projects that enhance quality of life across the North Country.
Stewart's has generously provided funds to assist with our Diver Down Flag Awareness Initiative. Stewart's Shops recently opened a location in the Thousand Islands in the Village of Clayton. This family and employee-owned company offers grants to numerous community groups in the areas they serve to foster a better community.
The Wyckoff Agency has generously sponsored TIDA's first event of 2026, in addition to becoming an Anchor Parter to financially support our mission. The Bryan Wyckoff Agency is a premier provider of State Farm Insurance products and financial planning services in the Watertown and Greater North Country region.
ANCHOR PARTNERS
St. Lawrence Scuba Co. of Watertown boasts the largest inventory of scuba equipment in the northeast. This full-service scuba shop provides equipment repair and maintenance as well as personalized sales service. In addition, SLSC runs charters to all the major shipwrecks of the region.
CHANNEL PARTNERS
Bonnie Castle Resort has both provided funds to assist with our Diver Down Flag Awareness Initiative and agreed to placing several signs at their facilities. Bonnie Castle Resort & Marina is a family-owned Alexandria Bay landmark with more than a century of history on the St. Lawrence River. Originally built in 1877 as Dr. Josiah Holland’s grand estate, the property later evolved into a resort, restaurant, and marina serving visitors to the Thousand Islands region. Known as a friend to the diving community, Bonnie Castle even hosts the NY State Police Underwater Recovery Team's annual training each September.
Alexandria Bay's best kept secret is the Dockside Pub on Market Street. This cozy, diver-friendly pub serves world class pub food as well as delicious entrées and daily specials. The Dockside is family-owned and a landmark establishment as the villages only year-round pub. Be sure to check it out!
NON-PROFIT PARTNERS
The 1000 Islands oldest and most influential conservation organization.
Save The River’s mission is to restore, preserve, and protect the Upper St. Lawrence River now and for generations to come through advocacy, education, research, and stewardship. TIDA provides Save the River with underwater assets and capabilities for cleanups, water testing, and video.
Working cooperatively with NYSDEC, Parks, and numerous regional partners, SLELO-PRISM endeavors to create resilient lands and waters while protecting biodiversity through invasive species prevention and management. TIDA provides underwater invasive species removal capabilities, while SLELO-PRISM offers our divers education in identification and removal of invasive species. TIDA then disseminates this knowledge to the broader diving community, creating an underwater monitoring system for invasives.
As the area's longest standing scuba diver's organization, the Clayton Dive Club works to improve diver safety, education, and access to historic wreck sites. The CDC and TIDA share diving resources & knowledge while offering mutual assistance for events and projects.
